Dave Julian

Dave Julian bought his first synthesiser, a Yamaha CS-5, one week before his seventeenth birthday in 1980.  Influenced and inspired by the sounds he was hearing on records being released at that time from such Artists as Gary Numan, Japan, Ultravox and The Human League.
Initially writing and playing synth lines and melodies for songs performed by bands that Dave used to play with, between 1980 and 1995.  From the mid 90s, Dave concentrated on pursuing the path of solo electronic music creation and performance.  Gradually gaining more capable gear with which came inspiration for new music and performance.
Over the last decade, Dave has gained recognition on the local scene for his electronic music and performances and he continues to strive for new sounds, melodies and grooves to create multitrack recordings for his Soundcloud page and new tracks to be played live, this being Dave's favourite aspect of Electronic Music, to perform live on stage.
